Are you a notary public, solicitor or law firm based in the UK?

I am a Romanian sworn translator with 17 years of experience in the legal field!

Why It Matters

With 1.4 million Romanians living in the UK, demand for certified Romanian legal translation is higher than ever. Yet many firms waste time and money on big agencies with high fees or inexperienced freelancers who lack legal expertise. The result? Inaccurate documents, failed cases, or rejected applications.

Choosing the right translator for legal and medical cases is not just about language — it’s about accuracy, trust, and compliance. With over 17 years of experience as a sworn Romanian translator registered with the Romanian Embassy in London, I specialise in helping law firms, solicitors, and notaries handle cases with confidence. Every document I translate is legally sound, culturally accurate, and delivered on time, so you and your clients can move forward without delays.

Unlike large agencies that treat Romanian as just another language pair, I provide personalised, end-to-end support. You’ll work directly with me (and my trusted team when needed), ensuring confidentiality, clarity, and precision at every stage. From contracts and affidavits to medical evidence and court interpreting, my services are designed to meet the highest professional standards while saving you time and unnecessary costs.

Tell us about you and your customer

Hello, I’m Daniela.

Here are a couple of questions I get asked frequently and will be useful for you.

  • Yes, I am a Romanian native sworn translator and interpreter for English, French and Spanish and I’m registered at the Romanian Embassy in London (#37 in the list). My translations are recognised in Romania and in the UK, as well as worldwide.

  • I specialise in legal and medical translation. I typically translate personal official documents, birth certificates, marriage and divorce documents, work contracts, financial documents, power-of-attorney deeds, deed polls, immigration documents, EU and UK law, Court records, Court decisions, and any other legal documents. I am also experienced in medical translation, personal records, medical exams, specialists’ conclusions and different medical reports.

  • Yes, I am. I started to work in the medical field in 2007 while I was an intern in a French translation agency. I’ve continued to translate in this field ever since. It’s rare to find a translator specialised both in the legal and medical field.

  • Yes, I respect the privacy of all my customers. All the details can be found at the bottom of this page, in the Privacy Policy section. Including references to GDPR. If you feel more comfortable, we can always sign an NDA.

  • No, all the legal documents are translated and revised by myself only. On medical translation, if we have a big volume of documents, I can outsource work to my experienced team. Before I do that I will always consult you. I will be the final reviewer of all documents in case we agree to proceed.

  • Invoice payment dates can be flexible depending on your invoicing cycles. For complex Romanian translation projects, we will discuss invoicing milestones. You can decide if you want to pay me or if you want your customer to pay me. I am fine with either. If the customer will pay, they will need to pay the costs upfront.

  • Yes, a minimum of 2h is required for me to interpret in Reading (my location), and a minimum of half a day + travelling costs to any other location on a maximum +30 miles radius, including London. All travel outside this radius will be considered one full interpreting day (not more than 7h including travelling). Weekends will be invoiced at 200%.
